Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI and the person behind ChatGPT, will not meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his visit to Israel.
Although the Prime Minister's Office said that "there was no official request from the Prime Minister's Office for a meeting with Sam Altman," sources in the high-tech industry told Israel Hayom that attempts were made to arrange a meeting with Altman, but this was not successful, apparently out of a desire to avoid getting into the political controversy in Israel over the legal reform, since the purpose of his visit is business and technological.

Altman's visit has considerable business potential for dozens of Israeli technology companies active in artificial intelligence. In Israel, it is believed that Altman expresses interest in business activity in Israel and may even make investments or acquisitions.
