The controversy in Together for Change over the initiative to incorporate Juan Schiaretti continues to raise temperature. This Sunday, the head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, reaffirmed his willingness to expand the opposition coalition. His rival in the internal PRO, Patricia Bullrich, responded with a forceful rejection of the possibility of adding the governor of Córdoba, which will be discussed on Monday at the meeting of the national table of Together for Change.
"
We are not going to hand over our people who are struggling, working very hard to beat Schiaretti who has been in power for 24 years. We are not going to give the arm to twist in this need for resounding change that is being generated in Córdoba, "he said in dialogue with CNN radio.
In this way, the presidential candidate marked the field regarding the discussion of incorporating the Peronist leader into the opposition coalition. "It's one thing to expand and another to pile up," he said.
In that line, he complained about the way in which he learned about the debate about incorporating new leaders and remarked that in 88 Cordovan towns the opposition will dispute against the official space of Schiaretti.
"
I found out about this from the newspapers. I asked for a license from the presidency of the PRO, but I found out from the newspapers," he said.
Days ago, Schiaretti and Juan Manuel Urtubey launched an "anti-crack" space and will run in the presidential election.
The discussion comes a few days before important definitions. On June 14 the alliances must be registered and also next Sunday, June 25, there are elections in Córdoba.
The figure of Schiaretti has the acceptance of the sector led by Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, but has the rejection of Bullrich and also of former President Mauricio Macri.
Therefore, the former Minister of Security raised this Sunday a veiled criticism of the head of Government of the City of Buenos Aires and re-ignited the internal in JxC.
Bullrich said that the idea of adding the Cordovan president "seems more linked to the need of some leaders to bring any ally for the situation in which they are, than to seriously discuss how to build a coalition that has the capacity to win."
In addition, he warned about a possible governance agreement with Schiaretti, in the face of a possible new JxC government.
"What is the debate with those who are offering to enter? What laws did they vote with us, with Kirchnerism? What is the clarity they are going to make in the future? An agreement of domes that in reality we have to break to try to show that it was an electoral agreement and then they vote against everything as happened in this last time, "he said.
While he recalled that the national deputies of Cordoba voted in Congress against the co-participation funds that President Alberto Fernández took from the City.
For his part, this Sunday Rodríguez Larreta raised his "vocation for expansion" and that the names in particular will be discussed by the JxC driving table.
"In the previous election, Ricardo Lopez Murphy joined, Facundo Manes joined as an extrapartisan. But I am very respectful of the procedures, and it has to be decided by the JxC table, "insisted the Buenos Aires president.
The two positions were raised and on Monday the meeting of leaders of the opposition coalition will discuss the expansion of the space, amid the opposition of the two main presidential candidates.
