The transfer window is still in full swing for the personalities of the small screen and RMC Sport comes to call on a new recruit.
With the announced departure of Jean-Baptiste Boursier on LCI in September, the Altice channel has proposed to Sonia Carneiro to succeed him to present the evenings of the Champions League next season.

The journalist is no stranger to football fans. In 2017, she left the L'Équipe channel to join RMC Sport where she officiated on the edge of the pitch during UEFA Champions League evenings. She presented in parallel the show "Breaking Foot" in 2017 and 2018, then co-presented the show "Footissime" with Nicolas Vilas during the year 2019. She then joined the team of Maxime Switek on BFMTV where she plays the role of columnist in the evening show "22H Max". She is also a reporter and presenter.
The young woman will now host, in addition to these various activities, the show "Champions zone" of RMC Sport during all the evenings of UEFA League Champions, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, on the edge of the field alongside the consultant of the channel Johan Djourou. Note that, for the 2023-2024 season, the Champions League will again be broadcast RMC Sport which holds the two best posters of each day, co-broadcast on Canal +. Delighted with this new role, Sonia Carneiro, expressed her joy on Instagram in an enthusiastic message: "HAPPY AND PROUD to return to RMC Sport to present the Champions League evenings. ️We will continue to see each other on BFMTV. It's an incredible season ahead, already looking forward to it! »

For his part, Jean-Baptiste Boursier chose to leave BFMTV, three years after his return, to take the head of the morning of LCI. The 40-year-old journalist, who presented the 18h/20h of the weekend of BFMTV, the program "BFM Politique" on Sunday noon but also the evenings of the Champions League of RMC Sport, succeeds to this post to Stefan Etcheverry.
