Video: Shelter where woman allegedly raped by two boys, Katzrin, May 23, 2023 (Eli Ashkenazi)
The two boys arrested on suspicion of raping the woman in Katzrin were not charged with sexual offenses. That's according to the indictment filed Sunday. The two minors were accused of imprisoning the 40-year-old woman and her 16-year-old son in a shelter, blackmailing her and stabbing the two.
The boys were arrested about two weeks ago following the woman's complaint that they had locked her in a shelter, threatened to pay them money and even raped her. The boys claimed that it was a financial dispute between them and the complainant, a single mother, after they claimed that their house had been painted and she had not paid the full payment to which she had promised. At the same time as the indictment, the boys' detention was extended until June 15.
