"It's important to make this appeal for donations for research. Research is progressing enormously, it is progressing very quickly, but it is expensive," says Évelyne Dhéliat. A subject that closely affects the director of the weather service of TF1. Indeed, about ten years ago, doctors diagnosed her with breast cancer. At the time, she felt that "it was something very personal". "I've always made a distinction between my professional and private life," she adds. But since doctors say it's important for well-known people to talk about screening, I felt the responsibility to do it," says Évelyne Dhéliat.

Public support

Despite his discretion, the public gives him its full support. "I had surgery in June, thinking it would go unnoticed with the holidays. But with the continuation of the treatments, I could not return right away. Viewers were calling TF1 to ask what was going on, so we communicated on it. It was mutually supportive. I had a lot of feedback from warm viewers, telling me that they were with me, that it was going to be fine. I, in return, probably gave courage to women by coming back to work, "recalls the presenter.
