Nuremberg - Rescue workers have saved the life of a visitor to the Rock im Park festival in Nuremberg. On Saturday, 3 May, the helpers were first involved in an oil fire in a food truck on the festival grounds. At the same time, they were called to a fallen and unconscious patient in the immediate vicinity. This is reported by the Bavarian Red Cross in a press release.

"The first aid team on site immediately initiated resuscitation measures," it says about the incident. After just a few minutes, the patient's circulation could be restored. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital. "From the point of view of the medical service, there is no connection to the festival due to the overall circumstances of the incident."
Around 1800 security staff work at Rock im Park. Not everyone thinks the organization of the festival is optimal.
