According to Gilbert Bou Jaoudé, "Married at First Sight" achieves better results than any other mode of dating. "The success rate of couples formed through dating sites is about 5%," he told us when he appeared in "Le Buzz TV". During the sixth season broadcast in 2022, the M6 program had obtained its best results with two solidified marriages out of the seven unions celebrated. This year, seven new couples were brought to marry under the Gibraltar sun. Over the first six editions of the show, 72 contestants were invited to meet their significant other for the first time on their wedding day. Of these 36 couples:

- 3 gave up before going to the town hall.
- 1 did not validate his marriage before the mayor.
- 28 divorced.
- 4 are, to date, still married: Charline and Vivien (season 3), Laure and Matthieu (season 5), Alicia and Bruno (season 6) and Pauline and Damien (season 6).
Note that two participants of the first season, Tiffany (divorced from Thomas) and Justin (rejected to the mayoralty by Valentine) became a couple after their experience, got married and had two children together. They recently announced their separation. After season 2, Emmanuelle (divorced from Florian) and Laurent (divorced from Vicky) lived together for more than a year before separating. What about the seven couples formed during season 7 at the end of filming?

Anabel and Fabrice (74% compatible): still married
An obvious at first glance as rarely the M6 show has been able to show since the first season. The 33-year-old laboratory trainer of Brazilian origin, mother of a 6-year-old daughter, and the 43-year-old project manager liked and loved each other even before saying yes. If Fabrice does not want to talk about love at first sight, observers witnessed something that came very close. With passion, intelligence and maturity, they were able to build their relationship solidly, getting to know each other and solving any obstacles – especially that of their geographical distance – with reflection. The one who has never had a child until now hopes that this beautiful marriage with Anabel will allow him to consider becoming a father.

Léa and Emanuel (81% compatible): still married
The experts of "Married at First Sight" can congratulate themselves on having united the 28-year-old audioprosthetist assistant and the manager of a 31-year-old seaside establishment. From their marriage in Gibraltar to the balance sheet, the experience of these two young parents – a 3-year-old son for Léa and two children, aged 6 and 8 for Emanuel – seemed to be a long quiet river. Anxious to find a respectful man after several complicated relationships, the Polynesian found the spouse she was looking for to live peacefully the family life she dreamed of. And to hope soon to have a child together.

Jessica and Pascal (77% compatible): divorced
They have in common this passion for sport and especially fitness and bodybuilding. But a common passion is not enough to form a solid couple. Despite their desire to fall in love, Jessica and Pascal have never been able to go beyond the beautiful friendship. The 49-year-old sports coach, very respectful, patient and attentive, got in tune with his wife in the hope of a happy sentimental outcome. But for the 39-year-old entrepreneur, the necessary spark never ignited in her. By mutual agreement, and in an exemplary friendly spirit, the two athletes returned their alliance to Estelle Dossin.

Pedro and Jefferson (79% compatible): still married
The first gay couple in the history of "Married at First Sight" to be formed, Pedro and Jefferson said yes to Gibraltar. Bereaved by the death of his father after several months with him, the 40-year-old Parisian upholsterer decorator was not in the best moral disposition to fully live this experience. He managed to maintain a complicit relationship with the 31-year-old insurance agency manager from Metz but without managing to project himself into the future. These two very different personalities, one being solar and demonstrative, the other more reserved and modest, announced during their assessment with the experts that they wanted to remain married.

Estelle and Maximilien (80% compatible): still married
"Your couple is a roller coaster," Estelle Dossin told them during the review. The story of the two 31-year-old bachelors in "Married at First Sight", each parent of a little girl, was not trivial because of the intervention of Estelle's father on the sidelines of their meeting. Although he had not been able to meet Maximilian before going to Gibraltar, Bülent spoke with his father and was reassured. On the day of the wedding, the involvement of this protective father was accentuated by multiple interviews aside with the groom. Modest in the presence of the cameras, jealous when it comes to evoking certain aspects of Maximilien's profession as a sports coach, the secretary has obviously found her balance. Despite the distance that separates them, one living near Perpignan and the other living in Alès, they announced that they wanted to remain married at the end of the shooting.

Laura and Anthony (77% compatible): marriage annulled
Registered for "Married at First Sight" with the hope of finding the right person to live a long relationship, Laura and Anthony did not have the chance to go through with their experience. Hospitalized after a stroke, the consequence of a sudden autoimmune disease, the 26-year-old insurance manager was no longer able to experience strong emotions at the risk of aggravating her health problems. But the production allowed the two singles to meet freely outside the show's process, something they were able to do in the presence of the cameras. A classic first meeting without the commitment of marriage. The rest of their story belongs to them.

Maurine and Benjamin (82% compatible): divorced
As with Estelle and Maximilien's wedding, the two families met without the bride and groom before heading to Gibraltar. Reassured to discover common values, all this little world attended the union between the 30-year-old Spanish teacher living in Avignon and the 27-year-old nurse living near Béziers. If Benjamin showed more his attraction, Maurine on the other hand appeared petrified and incapable of the slightest enthusiasm. A week after their wedding, during a weekend together, the couple spoke transparently. Maurine admitted that she could not take the intimacy step in their relationship. During the few days they were each at home, she did not feel any lack. "I would like to feel something, the feelings are not explained and you have to accept that it does not come," she explained to him before accepting, both of them, to give up and divorce.
