The minister said that after assessing the situation held by National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir together with Police Commissioner RNZ Yaakov Shabtai and district police commanders, Minister Ben-Gvir recently decided that a special project would be appointed to deal with crime and murders in the Arab sector.
The appointment of Projector has already come up in assessments conducted by the minister and the police commissioner in recent weeks, and Minister Ben-Gvir now intends to search for and appoint one within the next two weeks.
Ben-Gvir said, "Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir sees great importance in appointing a projector who will be in constant contact with the minister and the police commissioner and will be responsible for preparing and executing operative plans to reduce crime in the Arab sector."
Minister Ben-Gvir's remarks at the end of the assessment of the situation: "I intend to place the fight against crime and murders in Arab society at the top of the Ministry of National Security's list of priorities. I also intend to allocate enormous resources to this end by bringing police officers into the field, raising police salaries and establishing the National Guard."
