The car of a young man from Langenbach was stolen on Sunday night. The thief acted cheeky, but the victim also has to reproach himself.
Langenbach - This is highly criminal and quite cheeky on top of that: A hitherto unknown person not only stole a car in Langenbach on Sunday night, but left something else behind "in exchange". As reported by the Freising police, a 28-year-old man from Langenbach parked his black Ford S-Max in the street Am Rastberg at around 22 p.m.
Since he only wanted to stop for a short time, he left the vehicle key in the car, presumably it was still in the lock when he left the car. But that was a capital mistake, for which he must have reproached himself fiercely about two hours later. When the Ford owner did not return until around midnight, he found that his vehicle was no longer there.
(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
An unknown person had taken advantage of the key provided, apparently stolen the car and instead left a bicycle as a "swap" in the parking lot. A search for the car was unsuccessful. Witnesses who can provide relevant information are asked to report to the Freising police station on the telephone number (0 81 61) 5 30 50.
