In the midst of the debate over the incorporation of the governor of Córdoba, Juan Schiaretti, into Together for Change, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta added the support of Miguel Ángel Pichetto, in the face of Patricia Bullrich's iron refusal.
The head of the Buenos Aires Government and the president of the Federal Republican Encounter party appeared together at an event to present new equipment for the City Police.
"I believe in breadth as we always believed in Together for Change from our origins, to beat Kirchnerism with margin and that gives us representation; and second, because the change that Argentina needs requires a profound change, with a solid, broad majority that coincides with our values," said the Buenos Aires president.
The statements come hours before the meeting of the national table of the opposition coalition, which will debate the incorporation of the Cordovan governor, strongly resisted by the former Minister of Security and presidential candidate.
During the event, Rodríguez Larreta insisted that the vocation to expand the opposition space is from the origins of the force, when it was called Cambiemos in 2015, and that, for example, it added Pichetto as candidate for vice president of the Nation in 2019.

"We need a strong force in Congress to promote reforms, beat Kirchnerism and end this scourge," added the head of government.
For his part, Pichetto stressed that he has been working in JxC for five years, when he joined as Mauricio Macri's running mate, along with the construction of a new political and republican project.
"We're going to keep talking. There is no definition of electoral character. I am in the political construction and I believe in dialogue, expansion, a view that it is fundamental that Argentina has in view national unity, the construction of a common path for Argentines, with an agenda that we can subscribe to the democratic actors of the life of the country, this links me with Horacio in terms of ideas, " He clarified when asked about his presence with the Buenos Aires president.
In addition, he pointed out that there must be common visions regarding the "convictions" about what the country needs and rejected a "radicalized path" both on the right and on the left.
"There is a national center that has to have the majority will of the main leaders of the country," said the leader of Republican Peronism.
