The former head of the building authority, Michael Fellner, is now officially the new Irschenberg managing director. He prevailed against other applicants, the municipality announced.
Irschenberg – To be a link between the administration, the mayor and the municipal council, that is, in his own words, the concern of Michael Fellner. The 35-year-old has now officially taken up the office of managing director in Irschenberg's town hall. As reported, he succeeds Irmgard Dinges, who relinquished her position in mid-February and moved to the municipality of Feldkirchen (Munich district).
Fellner has been head of the building authority since 2020
Fellner had already taken over the post on an interim basis at the time. At the same time, the position was re-advertised. According to a press release from the municipality, the 35-year-old prevailed over the other applicants and is now taking over the administrative management and thus also the responsibility for the building yard as well as the water and sewage treatment plant.
The newcomer is no stranger to the community. Since April 2020, he has already headed the building authority. According to his own statements, he was satisfied with this function, because he is at home in building law. Fellner trained in the municipality of Raubling, where he also completed his administrative specialist. In 2018, he moved to the municipality of Riedering as head of the building authority, then to Irschenberg.
Mayor: "Application criteria fully met"
Mayor Klaus Meixner (CSU) congratulated Fellner on his promotion. "He brings a wealth of municipal experience to the table," says Meixner. "Among the applicants, he was the only one who fully met all our application criteria." Fellner is now looking forward to "implementing the fate of the municipality in the interests of the mayor and the municipal council". .sh
