For some time now, the technology sector has been understaffed. Companies demand programmers (trained in different languages) but fail to fill the vacancies they need. In Argentina, for example, 15,<> new jobs are published per month in areas of technology: more people are needed working in this area, which is one of the best paid.
Therefore, learning to program is the great option that young people and adults have to enter the IT world, get a job quickly and earn good salaries, sometimes in dollars if employed for foreign companies.
There is a free course, launched by the Government, to develop programming skills, with the aim of facilitating labor insertion in the most innovative technology companies. The program is called Elbow to Elbow 4.0, and is intended for both young and old.

It is a virtual programming course of the Ministry of Education of the City of Buenos Aires, which offers training in technology and Full Stack programming in different languages: Java, PHP Python, Web Development and React.Js, Mongo DB, GoLang / Go.

In addition, the IT industry is the fastest growing productive sector in the last five years in the City and, as mentioned above, the one that offers the best salaries.
What are Full Stack developers and what do they do?
They are a key player in the world of development. As masters of multiple programming languages, these professional experts are able to move from one development environment to the next. For them, it is not enough to understand that something works but they need to understand the how and why behind each functionality.
Fullstack developers have a hybrid profile between Frontend and Backend developer. He is an expert with knowledge in web design, programming languages, database, servers, APIs and Version Control Systems.
It does not necessarily master all technologies. However, you are expected to work on both the client and server sides, and understand what happens when developing an application. They must have a genuine interest in all software technologies.

What are the requirements to register for the free coding course?
Be over 18 years old.
Have a secondary degree.
- Basic knowledge of English and programming.
How is the modality of the course?
The course is 100% virtual.
The courses are free and last 20 weeks (approximately 5 months).
There will be 2 classes per week with an online teacher lasting an hour and a half each.
As complementary activities to the classes, students must do tasks within the platform and deliver a final work.
- The exercises, activities and / or consultations will be developed within the platform where you will find everything you need for your training: forums, theoretical material and teaching and pedagogical accompaniment.
- The allocation of vacancies will be made between July 14 and 28. Classes will begin on July 31.

To pre-register for the Elbow to Elbow Program you have to enter the link: https://inscripcionesagencia.bue.edu.ar/codoacodo/ and complete a form with personal data, levels of advanced studies and choose the course you want.
Registration started on June 1 and there is time until July 9 inclusive to register. Those who have obtained the vacancy will receive a notification in their mailboxes between July 14 and 28. The course begins on July 31.
