MontanaBlack takes a stand on the Vlesk scandal: "This is character assassination"

MontanaBlack has dealt with the topic surrounding the allegations against Vlesk in the livestream. And the Twitch star has a clear opinion.

In the livestream, he reacts to a video from KuchenTV on the subject by responding to Vlesk's statement. He clearly explains his view of things to his viewers.

This is what MontanaBlack says: Streamer Vlesk has been accused of sexual assault towards his ex-girlfriend. The streamer scandal made big waves on Twitter and many showed solidarity with the victim of the accusation. However, Vlesk released its own statement on the allegations and revealed new information that is now dividing the community. In a livestream, MontanaBlack also reacted to the allegations.

What happened?

Streamer Farbenfuchs has accused Vlesk of sexual assault in several cases. In 2019, Vlesk is also said to have been assaulted on an unnamed friend – Farbenfuchs speaks of the "worst" here. Vlesk explains in his statement that he has already spoken to the person concerned. Even though he and the victim herself used the word "rape" to talk about the case, they now mutually agreed that this is not the case. The streamer thus rejects the accusation of rape and Farbenfuchs also revised her statement in another statement after his statement.

It is clear to him that even when the accusation against Vlesk arose, too much was kept silent for him. In his opinion, Vlesk was not criticized from his own Twitter circles. "I've never seen so many people say nothing and shut up. All those family-friendly-bubble sons who always have an opinion on everything. As soon as someone is on the ground, they are the first to open their faces and they all kept their mouths shut."

However, he is more concerned here with the principle of double morality from the aforementioned "Twitter bubble", because in the reaction to KuchenTV's video, MontanaBlack takes the side of Vlesk. Because the allegations made against the streamer cannot be understood by the Twitch star. In his opinion, Vlesk, girlfriend at the time, should have signaled more clearly that a line was being crossed. Here you can see the whole video.

"It's just the wrong interpretation of the signals. If you then go ahead and take advantage of the situation, then that's not okay. I don't see anything from the description for which I would criticize or cancel him." Nevertheless, MontanaBlack emphasizes that a "no" should always be accepted, but for this to happen, it must first be pronounced.

MontanaBlack reacts to Vlesk scandal: 'Doesn't make sense'

MontanaBlack's opinion: The streamer cannot understand the very fact that Farbenfuchs published the allegations without having received permission from the victim of the crime. "It's very sneaky. Of course, if you've had a bad experience with a person, you can share it. But if you know someone else who has had bad experiences as well, you ask them if it's okay to talk about it and the person says 'no' and you do it anyway, then that's completely selfish."

The way in which the allegations came to light is suspicious to MontanaBlack. Similar to KuchenTV, he suspects that this is not about encouraging women in similar situations, but about wiping something out of someone. "This is character assassination". However, MontanaBlack does not want to relativize assaults against women. For him, it is common sense to recognize when boundaries are crossed.
