Is there an exterminator in the audience? Among the hundreds of thousands of fans who packed Taylor Swift's concert in Chicago on Sunday, there was also an uninvited flying guest who caused Swift to choke.

This may sound stressful to you, and it would probably take any ordinary person out of focus. But Swift, who is in the midst of her super-successful Eras tour, was unfazed when, just before she was about to perform one of the speeches, she began gasping when the insect entered her mouth and she swallowed it.
While audience members fell silent in panic when Swift suddenly turned her back on them and began coughing, she was quick to joke about it and immediately shared what was happening: "I swallowed an insect. I'm so sorry.

"I'm fine. It's so stupid," she said, then turned back to the crowd, which by then had responded with giggles of relief, and jokingly concluded: "It was delicious. Is there a chance that no one saw what happened?"
Swift continued to "flow" with the unexpected mishap and once again informed the audience that everything was fine. "I'll try not to repeat it much but I can't commit," she joked again in a video documented by one fan that quickly went viral with dozens of shares and views.

"It will happen again tonight because there are insects in the hall here. Thousands," Swift said, and like a true professional, continued the performance and received a standing ovation from her hundreds of thousands of fans in the audience.
