Even after the budget, there is no quiet in the government: Minister Shlomo Krei (Likud) on Monday morning strongly attacked Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich (Religious Zionism) over the latter's economic policy.

"He's a detached elitist, captive to Treasury officials, he proved it to me with free education from the age of 3-0," he said in an interview with Galatzi Karai.

Karai is the second minister in a day to attack Smotrich. Just yesterday, Housing Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf (Torah Judaism) attacked Smotrich, as well as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, for their criticism of the Israel Land Authority.

Minister Goldknopf signed a letter from the Israel Authority in which he responded to the claims made by the two regarding the organization's conduct. "There is no room for empty criticism," it reads in part.
