Wollersdorf – Dramatic traffic accident in the district of Straubing-Bogen: In the night from Friday to Saturday, June 3, there was a terrible crash on the St2140. It is not yet clear in detail how the serious clash could have occurred. According to the police, an 18-year-old man died. In addition to several rescue and emergency services, a helicopter was also deployed at the scene of the accident, officials said in their statement.

Around 0:45 a.m., several emergency calls reported that there had been a serious traffic accident on state road 2140 between Eisenhart and Wollersdorf in the district of Straubing-Bogen. A total of five people were in the two cars involved in the crash. Investigations into the exact circumstances of the accident are still ongoing, and an expert has been commissioned by the responsible public prosecutor's office.
Fatal crash in Bavaria: 18-year-old loses his life
The 18-year-old man from Straubing died at the scene of the accident despite intensive resuscitation measures. The four other people suffered some serious injuries and were cared for by a large contingent of rescue workers, three rescue helicopters had been alerted to the scene of the accident. A 25-year-old man, who was alone in his car, had collided head-on with the vehicle of the 18-year-old from Straubing, in this vehicle there were three other people.

Crisis intervention teams were also deployed at the scene of the accident to care for both the accident victims and the emergency services. The total property damage on site was estimated by police officers at about 80,000 euros.
