Four drivers with more than 120 km/h - but a 45-year-old wins the sad record
According to their follow-up report, the officers found a total of four speed violations with more than 120 km/h in the one and a half hours of control time. In the choice of words for the record, the officials make it unmistakably clear that this was not a routine business for them: "The front runner was a 45-year-old Finsinger who shot along the FTO at an incredible 174km/h," the police report says.

Thus, the driver from the district of Erding was much closer to 200 than the permitted 100 kilometers per hour. The punishment will also be correspondingly severe, the officials of the Poinger inspection announce: "An administrative offence procedure has now been initiated against the lady, which will result in a fine of 1,200 euros, two points in Flensburg and a two-month driving ban."
Serious accidents with injuries and deaths occur regularly on the airport tangent east. Common causes are excessive speed and overtaking manoeuvres in blind places - although overtaking is prohibited on large parts of the track anyway.
