No one really likes to lose, but some people can't handle losing and most of them represent three specific zodiac signs. These zodiac signs take every loss as a blow to the ego, may react disproportionately, sometimes belligerent and violent - and do everything possible to change the outcome of the game, even if it means accusing the other side of faking.

In astrology, the moon indicates our instinctive reactions and Mars controls things like sports, sex, road rage, aggression and competitiveness – so even people who are in one of these 3 zodiac signs tend to react poorly to losses.

Here are the 3 zodiac signs that don't know how to lose honorably according to astrologer Rida Wiggle of the New York Post:

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

Aries is a cardinal fire sign and the first in the zodiac. As such, Aries always want more, always want to be first, want it here and now and always want to win. Competition is a kind of Darwinian survival tactic for these people. Controversy makes them feel better and winning is what makes them feel worthy. Add to that that Aries people abhor pity and loss naturally invites it.

Examples of teleports in action include Eddie Murphy, who stormed out of the 2007 Oscars when the award for Best Supporting Actor went to Alan Arkin. Another example is coach Bill Belichick, who walked off the Super Bowl field in 2008 with one second left on the clock and the loss seemed clear. Sir Elton John, another typical Aries, struggled to come to terms with Madonna's nomination for "Live Performance of the Year" at the 2004 Q Music Awards and slandered her on stage: "Since when does lipsing count as a live performance? Anyone who lip-syncs on stage and charges £75 ($134) for that should be shot." Ouch.

LeBron James, who has a patch moon, refused to participate in the welcome handshake after his team was defeated in the 2009 Eastern Conference Finals. James later explained: "I'm winning. That doesn't mean I don't know how to accept the loss or anything like that. If someone beats you, you're not going to congratulate them. That doesn't make sense to me. I'm a competitor. That's what I do. It doesn't make sense for me to go shake someone's hand."

Leo (July 23 - August 22)

Leos are ruled by the sun and really want everyone to shine, as long as they remain the source of that light. Being the best is in these people's blood and winning is a testament to how special they are, as they desperately need to believe they are.

Examples of Leos who don't accept defeat include Angela Bassett who didn't applaud Jamie Lee Curtis after losing Best Supporting Actress to her at the 2023 Oscars, and wrestler Ara Abrahamian, who refused to accept his loss and took the disgraceful step of throwing his bronze medal on the mat during the awards ceremony at the Beijing Olympics. Ara has vociferously protested a controversial judicial decision that deprived him of the gold, he said. International Olympic Committee chiefs revoked his medal and banned him from the Games.

Also on the list is former US President Donald Trump, who may be Gemini but is a native of Mars in Leo – and we know how jarring his recent loss was. Tennis player Serena Williams, also with Mars in Leo, also has a long history of refusing to shake hands and taking losses in anger.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)

As intense types who don't like to share, the competitiveness of Arabian people stands out – and they will do anything to ensure their survival in the wild. They are very competitive types and will know how to sting when a person tries to outdo them.

Here too we have examples: Sally Kirkland who gave singer Cher hateful looks when she lost to her at the Oscars in 1988, figure skater Evgeny Plushenko who lost the gold medal in 2010 to Evan Lysacek and said of his defeat: "I was sure I would win. I guess Owen needs a medal more than I do. Maybe it's because I already have one."

However, the prize for the most angry scorpion loser of all time goes to Olympic boxer Byun Jong-il, who after the defeat to Alexander Hristov, sat sullen and alone in the ring for more than an hour until the lights went out on him.
