Once the discussion on an eventual agreement with Juan Schiaretti was installed, the main point of the meeting on Monday between the presidents of the parties of Together for Change, the issue impacted the electoral dispute in Córdoba. Beyond the resolution at the national level, still uncertain, the provincial referents complain about the debate in which the space embarked and the effect on that election at the end of the month is part of another bid between Horacio Rodríguez Larreta and Patricia Bullrich.
"It's crazy what they are doing, they put the space in crisis," bellowed this Sunday a leader close to Rodrigo Di Loredo, a Cordovan reference for radicalism who is presented as a candidate for mayor of Córdoba Capital. The calendar heightens tensions. Schiaretti called the elections for Sunday 25 of this month, one day after the definition of the candidacies at the national level.
The fronts will be registered on Wednesday 14, so the resolution will have effect on Luis Juez's purpose of unseating Peronism in the district, in this case in his dispute against Martín Llaryora, current mayor of the capital.
"Peronism here is desperate, spending millions and buying leaders. Some there play into Schiaretti's hands, which makes them eat the amague. He does everything according to what suits him in the province, "they pointed out privately from the tone of Luis Juez.
The scenario in Córdoba in turn was shaken by the passage of leaders of Together for Change to Peronism. From Javier Pretto – former head of the PRO in the province – as candidate for vice mayor of the capital to the radical Myriam Prunotto, Llaryora's running mate.
"The Cordovan Peronism went shopping to buy wills. The desperation to pile up names of supposed opponents speaks of the fact that they are afraid and believe that on the next 25th they will lose their privileges," Judge questioned.
The senator avoided delving into the eventual agreement with Schiaretti at the national level – the same Rodrigo de Loredo, candidate for mayor of the capital – with the purpose of not enhancing the controversies in parallel to the elections in 88 municipalities and communes this Sunday. He is scheduled to make further statements on Monday.
That day, in the afternoon, Gerardo Morales, Federico Angelini, Maximiliano Ferraro and Miguel Pichetto will meet in the National Committee of the UCR to discuss Schiaretti and other possible additions, such as José Luis Espert and socialism.
Again there were two positions cut and with a fight between Rodríguez Larreta and Bullrich. The head of the Buenos Aires Government, in line with Gerardo Morales and Elisa Carrió, pushes the discussion on the "expansion" of Together for Change, in contrast to the rejection of the former Minister of Security and Mauricio Macri.
"The conversations with national referents such as Juan Schiaretti, José Luis Espert or Margarita Stolbizer have as their sole objective to guarantee change in Argentina. And in the case of Juan Schiaretti, it does not go at all against our intention to win the province and the city of Córdoba with Luis Juez and Rodrigo de Loredo, two luxury candidates that I am honored to support, "said Rodríguez Larreta in a statement, published this afternoon.

Together for Change has to expand and build a new majority with all those who share the same values: a deep vocation for change, the defense of freedom, democracy, the republic, and the focus on doing over saying, "argued the head of the Buenos Aires Government.
"It's one thing to expand and another to pile up," Bullrich had previously denied in an interview with CNN radio. "We are not going to hand over our people who are struggling, working very hard to beat Schiaretti, who has been in power for 24 years. We are not going to give the arm to twist in this need for resounding change that is being generated in Córdoba".
The UCR sector led by Morales agreed to discuss incorporation. "We must have Peronist sectors that make it possible to expand the base of support of the project and advance in an agreement to form a government coalition," they ratified close to the president of Jujuy, in the previous meeting between the presidents of the parties.
"The Civic Coalition in its history has always had a vocation to expand. That said, we must take care of the election in Córdoba. And we don't want to discuss the strategy through the media," said a representative of the party founded by Carrió.
"They are deprofiling Together for Change. We are not working coherently with what society is asking of us. If we are not the change we are nothing," Angelini told Clarín, quoting Macri's slogan.
From Peronism they recognized the progress of the negotiations. "Our proposal is not to join Together for Change but to put together a coalition of parties to go to the PASO and that everyone accompanies whoever is elected, integrating the Cabinet with figures from each force," they said close to Florencio Randazzo.
At the meeting in the National Committee they will also discuss the pending case of Espert. Macri and Bullrich object to the economist competing in the PASO for president, as Rodríguez Larreta promotes, considering it a maneuver to subtract votes from the former Minister of Security.
The entry of the GEN -Margarita Stolbizer is already part of the interbloc of deputies of Together for Change- and socialism complete the agenda for another meeting that is presumed to be critical, in the countdown of the electoral definitions.
