Three people were killed Monday evening in a collision between several vehicles on Highway 6, near Kiryat Gat. Two other people were seriously injured and two were in light condition. One of the vehicles caught fire. One of the cars caught fire.

An MDA spokesperson said: "MDA medics and paramedics pronounced a 50-year-old man dead and evacuated two wounded 2-year-olds in moderate condition to Soroka Hospital with injuries to their upper bodies and limbs. There are 25 unconscious casualties in the vehicle on fire."
The police said: "According to an initial report, one of the vehicles is on fire and apparently has 2 people trapped inside. In addition, a person from another vehicle involved in the accident was pronounced dead. Police officers are working to allow all emergency and rescue forces to reach the scene of the accident, and the road is blocked to traffic. Police traffic accident examiners are on their way to the scene to investigate the circumstances of the accident."
