Halle – The public prosecutor's office in Halle has brought charges against the Thuringian AfD parliamentary group leader Björn Höcke for the use of Nazi vocabulary. He is accused of the public use of signs of a former National Socialist organization, as the authority announced on Monday. Two years ago, Höcke is said to have used the forbidden slogan of the Sturmabteilung (SA) of the National Socialist NSDAP "Everything for Germany" at an AfD election campaign event in Merseburg in Saxony-Anhalt, whereby, according to investigators, he is said to have known about the origin of this expression.
