Two TikTok influencers arranged to have a brawl in Nuremberg. Hundreds of onlookers then gathered at the station. Instead of the enemy, however, the police were waiting there.
Nuremberg – A feud between two TikTok influencers led to a large-scale police operation at Nuremberg's main train station. The two teenagers had arranged to meet online for a brawl, and hundreds of onlookers came to watch the alleged spectacle.
Arranged to brawl: TikTok feud causes large-scale police operation
On Saturday evening, June 3, a large number of people, mostly young people, gathered near Nuremberg's main train station. The trigger for the crowd had been an escalated dispute between a 20-year-old TikToker from Hanover and an 18-year-old from Nuremberg. The two had previously verbally clashed with each other in several livestreams and specifically teased each other in short video clips.
The conflict reached its climax when the Hanoverian finally announced that he would be in the Franconian metropolis on the Saturday in question and wanted to fight. The two teenagers wanted to clarify the dispute "one-on-one", as the 20-year-old explained on TikTok. "Hopefully you've prepared well for tomorrow. Because you know that no one can help you if you're in a cage," the TikToker warned his opponent.

500,000 spectators online – numerous expulsions pronounced
Both TikTokers are especially popular among teens. Over 500,000 followers followed the escalating dispute on TikTok. The provocative statements of the social media starlets led to a mass mobilization of young onlookers who gathered around the station. According to police, there were up to 300 people at times. "I think all of TikTok already knows what's going to happen tomorrow," he said last Friday.
In order to prevent a possible mass brawl, the Nuremberg police arrived with a large contingent. On the spot, the officials issued numerous expulsions, the crowd dispersed peacefully within two hours. The announced fight did not take place.
