Unterföhring and Oberschleißheim fire brigades in action
The fire brigades of Oberschleissheim and Unterföhring had been alerted at 1.14 a.m., reports the fire brigade. When the first forces of the Oberschleissheim fire brigade arrived, who were also alerted due to unclear local conditions, the driver had already freed himself from his accident truck and was waiting for the helpers on the hard shoulder. "He must have had more than just a guardian angel," says head of operations Florian Klietsch, deputy commander of the Unterföhring volunteer fire department. After first aid, he was taken to a shock room in a Munich clinic.
Highway partially closed except for one lane
