Update from Tuesday, June 6, 7:12 a.m.: It was not until around 1 a.m. on Tuesday night (6 June) that the major operation on the railway line in front of Frankfurt Central Station was completed. This was announced by the fire brigade in the early morning. This meant that the work of the rescue workers dragged on for about ten hours. As reported, the background was a person who had climbed onto a steel girder of the Main-Neckar Bridge on Monday afternoon (June 5).
The consequences: The railway stopped long-distance traffic in the area, the VGF the tram running under the bridge, and shipping on the Main was also interrupted. According to information from Deutsche Bahn, an ICE was still in the closed track area, the air conditioning of which was no longer possible after the power supply was switched off. Therefore, it was decided to evacuate the train stranded in Frankfurt.

A total of 450 people were affected. They were taken over the tracks to an area on the grounds of the University Hospital Frankfurt. Your ICE could not continue. In addition, the railway system had been de-energized and grounded. As a result, the train was no longer air-conditioned.
