A tortoise from Egling went on a small excursion on Monday. Now the police are looking for their owner.
Egling – On Monday afternoon, a 22-year-old woman from Egling came across an unusual road user who was driving her car in the area of Schalkofen. A tortoise had apparently escaped from its home and almost got under the wheels.

Almost with a bloody end: Escaped turtle on the move
The woman braked in time, and then tried to place the reptile in the shelter. Since this did not work out, the Wolfratshausen police station became a reception station for a short time until the officers could hand it over to an expert. The previously unknown owner of the animal can find out where to pick up the turtle from the police, call 0 81 71/4 21 10.
