The forest and peat bog fire near Göldenitz and Teschow south of Rostock was brought under control on Tuesday evening, according to the district. There are no more open flames, said a district spokeswoman for the German Press Agency around 21:30 p.m. The approximately 300 emergency personnel in the course of the day would now be sent home for the most part, it said.
