Osem announced today (Tuesday) to its customers that it has removed from the shelves of its product "Black & White" flake treats, due to concerns about the presence of plastic pieces in the biscuit brand. This was due to a malfunction that caused a break in the product's packaging trays.

These are packages of 220 grams, with bar code 7290118420552, which expire on December 15-17 this year. The company notified consumers that they could get a replacement product, in a conversation with consumer service.

"Quality and safety are Osem's top priorities, we apologize for the malfunction and we will continue to work to ensure the quality of its products," the company said.

Three months ago, Osem announced that it was removing from the shelves the 60-gram Bamba packages sold in a package of four units. This was due to complaints and concern that a piece of packaging could be found inside the bags.
