Israel believes that the United States will not be able to reach a limited agreement with Iran on its nuclear program. This followed meetings held in Washington last week by National Security Council head Tzachi Hanegbi and Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer.
According to the information accumulated in Israel, there are indirect talks between Biden administration envoys and Iranian representatives about a limited nuclear agreement, which will include only limited aspects of the nuclear program. However, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has so far not approved the outlines presented to him.

Iran adheres to its original position that only the original nuclear agreement, as signed in 2015, should be returned. But under the current circumstances in the United States and the West, there is no willingness to return to the original version.
