Be careful if you are a deli lover. Since Monday, June 5, the government platform Rappel Conso has published a new sheet for a very specific product: "Black Forest" cured ham from the Carrefour brand. Sold in 100-gram trays between May 16 and June 2 in associated stores, it is possibly contaminated with listeria. With the end of the procedure set for June 20, the authorities advise potential holders of the product to stop consuming it, throw it away or bring it back to their store to obtain a refund.
"People who have consumed the "products" mentioned above and who present fever, isolated or accompanied by headaches, and body aches, are invited to consult their doctor by reporting this consumption," says Rappel Conso. He added that "severe forms with neurological complications and maternal or fetal damage in pregnant women can also sometimes occur."
