The big favorites to win Roland Garros are the highlight of day 10 of Roland Garros. It is that, the number 1 of the world ranking Carlos Alcaraz and the legend Novak Djokovic, after sweeping in the second round, are one match away from crossing in the semifinals. But before the duel expected by the tennis planet, the Serbian must cross with a tough rival: Karen Khachanov on the luxury court, the Philippe-Chatrier. The N.1 Later, Charly and the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas will star in the night session of Roland Garros, on the tenth day of the tournament dedicated to the quarterfinals
Nole passed without a scratch. On Sunday, in back-to-back shifts on the Philippe Chatrier, Djokovic reserved strength against Peru's Juan Pablo Varillas (94th) and Alcaraz reduced what was billed as a big battle to a military walk against Lorenzo Musetti (18th).
Djokovic won 6-3, 6-2 and 6-2, so he will be in the quarters of Paris for the 14th consecutive time, for a total of 17 – a new record, surpassing Rafa Nadal, 16 – with two titles in the showcase (2016 and 2021).
It was an ideal afternoon for the Serb, less than two hours on track (1h57) and without great wear against a rival unable to keep up with him in the rallies to arrive without disheveling the duel with Khachanov.

More complicated seemed the crossing of Alcaraz against a tennis player of his generation against whom he had lost the only match they had played, the final in Hamburg last year.
But Musetti, impeccable in the tournament until Sunday, was a friend for the Spaniard, who prevailed 6-3, 6-2, 6-2.
Everyone expects that after the day of this Tuesday will be played "the anticipated final between Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal although surely Khachanov and Tsitsipas will do everything possible to make the opposite happen.
