Three people were killed Monday night in a collision between several vehicles on Highway 6, near Kiryat Gat.Two of the dead were trapped in one of the vehicles that caught fire. At the same time, a 60-year-old man who was in another car was pronounced dead in the accident.
Those killed in the burned vehicle were Jihad Ayman Nasasra, 21, and Fares Muhammad Nasasra, 19. The third fatality in another vehicle was Avraham (Avi) Tadeghi, 60, from Netivot.

Preliminary findings regarding the fatal traffic accident indicate that the driver,
traveling from south to north, lost control and moved into the opposite lane, causing the death of a resident of Netivot in the 60s. The vehicle of the two young men whose vehicle caught fire was also hit, killing 150 meters from the scene.
The offending driver remains alive and is currently hospitalized and has not yet been interrogated. It is not yet known if this is a technical malfunction or a distraction while driving.
