In the morning, the weather is sunny, with some low clouds in the northwest of the country, says the Weather Channel*. High-altitude clouds arrive from the Southeast, which is overcast from the beginning of the day, and spread over the rest of the country in the afternoon. These clouds announce a change in the weather, which will become more moist and heavy.
Stormy showers continue in the South but are less marked than in previous days, except on the Alpine reliefs. Temperatures rise and exceed 30°C locally, especially on the Atlantic coast and in the center of the country.
The weather in your area
The showers are less important and more localized in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in Occitanie and in the south of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Some waves are also possible north of the Grand Est, in the Ardennes. In the Provence-Alpes-Côte-D'Azur region, the rains are heavier than the day before, especially in the Southern Alps and east of Provence.
Low clouds will be present in northern Brittany and Hauts-de-France in the early morning, but it is then there that the day is the most beautiful, while as the hours go by, from Pays-de-la-Loire to the Franche-Comté region, as well as in the southern half of the country, the weather will be increasingly cloudy.
In the English Channel, the north-east wind remains strong and temperatures will be around 20°C in the afternoon. In the rest of the country, the day begins with temperatures ranging from 13 ° C to 16 ° C in the Pays-de-la-Loire, Centre and Franche-Comté, and up to 19 ° C in Provence-Alpes-Côte-D'Azur. Then the barometer will exceed 25 ° C in the rest of the day.
