Due to the economic crisis that Argentina is going through, it is common that there is less demand for work by companies, and therefore more people without jobs.
While there are those who can reintegrate more easily, due to their profile and preparation, there will also be those who find it more difficult.
In this context, if a worker registered in Argentina is dismissed without just cause, he can collect the unemployment fund or benefit.

What is an unemployment fund?
It is a subsidy that corresponds to collect and that pays the National Administration of Social Security (ANSES).
It can be requested by those who have lost their job having been a worker in a relationship of dependency and dismissed without just cause, due to termination of contract or external causes, and is included in the Employment Contract Law 24,013.

tag. Temporary and seasonal workers: in either case, if you worked less than 12 months, you are entitled to one (1) day for every three (3) of service provided with contributions.
tag. Holders 45 years or older: automatically extended for 6 months. The amount of the contributions in these cases is 70% of the value of the first installment of the benefit.
Step by step, how to do the process?
1. Gather all the corresponding personal and family documentation. If there was an exchange of telegrams with the employer, the telegrams and the certificate of the Ministry of Labour must also be presented.
2. Request an appointment at ANSES. Later you can consult the information of the day and the place assigned to check it or cancel the shift.
3. Submit the required documentation in the office consigned for the shift that was requested. The procedure is personal and there are 90 working days to request the benefit from the date on which the termination of the employment relationship occurred. After the established period, for each working day elapsed, one day of service will be deducted.
Where do I charge it?
ANSES manages the opening of a Social Security Savings Bank to collect this benefit. In this way, you can withdraw the money over the counter at a bank branch. Subsequently, the bank will give you the debit card to operate through the ATMs.
You will have to go to the assigned bank branch to formalize the opening of the Savings Bank and receive your card.
If you have already received an ANSES benefit through a bank account, you will be assigned that same account. If you have a private account, you can ask the bank to modify it as a Social Security Account.
It is important to review the collection receipt every month. The Ministry of Labor can summon you. If you do not show up, your benefit will be suspended.
What happens if you get a new job?
In this case, it will be necessary to request the suspension of the benefit in any dependency of ANSES, within 5 working days of having joined the new job.
It must be done in writing, through Form PS. 3.5 that must be presented at the nearest ANSES delegation in person (or through an authorized person who must carry the applicant's ID) or by post (telegram, letter document).
