Germering - On Monday, June 5, around 7 a.m., a vehicle was to be checked in Föhrenstraße by officers from the Germering police station.
The driver of the VW Golf evaded this control and drove at over 100 km/h through a play street. Due to the significantly excessive speed, he came off the road and drove into a garden fence with a hedge. As it turned out during the check, the driver is a 17-year-old Germeringer, who was traveling in his mother's vehicle and did not have a driver's license. It was also found that he was driving the vehicle under the influence of drugs. A blood sample was taken from him.
He is now facing several charges, including for endangering road traffic and driving without a license. Fortunately, no one was injured. The damage is estimated at around 8,000 euros. The vehicle was no longer roadworthy and was towed.
