Since February 20 (and until March 10), the 2023 edition of the "Favorite Village of the French" has opened the votes - via Internet or by phone - to choose from a selection of 14 municipalities. Friday, June 30, from 21:10 pm, Stéphane Bern will unveil the ranking and the name of the village that will succeed the winners of the show in Bergheim (Grand Est). Launched in 2012 on France 2, the heritage program highlighted exceptional sites and offered the first eleven winners a particularly coveted tourism label.

- 2013: Eguisheim (Grand Est)
- 2014 : Cordes-sur-Ciel (Occitanie)
- 2015: Ploumanac'h (Brittany)
- 2016: Rochefort-en-Terre (Brittany)
- 2017: Kaysersberg (Grand Est)
- 2018: Kassel (Hauts-de-France)
- 2019: Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue (Normandy)
- 2020: Hunspach (Grand Est)
- 2021: Sancerre (Centre-Val de Loire)
- 2022: Bergheim (Alsace)
