In December 2022, there was an attack with a broken glass bottle in Nuremberg. Now the police are looking for witnesses – with photos of the suspects.
Nuremberg – On December 17, an initial verbal altercation between three men developed into a dangerous attack with a broken glass bottle on a 33-year-old man in front of a Nuremberg food stall. Since then, the Middle Franconian police have been looking for two suspected men – so far without result. Therefore, the population is now being asked for help.
After attack with glass bottle: police are looking for suspects with photos
According to a police press release on Wednesday, June 7, three men "got into a verbal argument "around 04:00 a.m. in the morning in front of a snack bar in Königstraße (between Luitpoldstraße and Klaragasse)," which then developed into a fisticuff. One of the two wanted men "allegedly attacked the 33-year-old with a broken glass bottle and injured him, among other things, in the neck," writes the police.
As a result of the attack, the 33-year-old victim had to be treated as an outpatient in a hospital. The two unknown men ran away in the direction of the main train station after the incident. Immediately, the police inspectorate Nuremberg-Mitte initiated extensive investigations and, thanks to precise witness descriptions, was able to secure videos from surveillance cameras at the main train station, which probably show the two men. With photos from these clips, the officers are now turning to the population to find the suspects.

Police are looking for suspects from Nuremberg on the basis of photos
With the help of the photos and more detailed descriptions of people, the police are now asking the population for clues about the two men. They are described as follows:
- Suspect 1: About 35 years old, 1.70 meters tall. Short, black hair, wore a 3-day beard.
Dressed in an eye-catching light leather jacket with a fabric/fur collar. - Suspect 2: About 40 years old and 1.80 meters tall. Short, black hair.
Dressed in a black outerwear and dark jeans.
