The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court on Wednesday released Chen Ziv, the driver suspected of running over Shalev Aflalo to death last New Year's Eve, to house arrest.
Ziv was released after the police released the three other suspects in the case, Bar Shammai, Yitzhak Ben David and another boy to house arrest yesterday. At the hearing, the police representative requested a stay of execution on his release.

Court security guards were forced to remove Aflalo's family after they began shouting and rioting over the release decision.
Yesterday, as stated, it was decided to release the three other suspects involved in the affair: Yitzhak Luria Ben David, the suspect in planning the murder of Shalev Aflalo last New Year's Eve, Bar Shammai, the suspect who gave the order to run over Aflalo, and another 16-year-old suspect. Aflalo was run over last Rosh Hashanah and, as revealed by Israel Hayom, the police began to suspect that the vehicular attack was deliberate due to a dispute between the sides.
