The first president of the Court of Appeal of Bastia said Wednesday "deplore with the greatest vehemence" the naming of a judge, whose name was displayed during a demonstration on the gates of the court, with a call to leave the island.

Rallies of about fifty people took place Monday in front of the Bastia police station and Tuesday in front of the courthouse, at the call of the Aiutu Paisanu collective of support for the so-called "political" Corsican prisoners.
