According to the press release, an 84-year-old woman was riding her bicycle on Lauterbacher Straße in the direction of Holzen. At the same time, a 30-year-old drove her VW in the opposite direction. When the cyclist wanted to turn left into Falkensteinstraße, she overlooked the young woman's car and was hit head-on by it.
The 84-year-old suffered serious injuries in the accident and was taken to hospital. There she finally succumbed to her injuries. The driver was slightly injured and suffered a shock. There was a total damage of around 5500 euros.
