A father in his forties was wounded with a knife Sunday, June 4 in Lombez (Gers), learned Le Figaro from a source close to the file. It was his son, only nine years old, who was responsible for the stabbings.
The facts follow a marital dispute that broke out at the family's home. During this dispute, the father of the family allegedly made death threats to his girlfriend. His son then stabbed him several times in the chest. Suffering from four superficial wounds, the father was quickly taken care of by the emergency services, without a life-threatening prognosis.
Placed in custody for "repeated death threats by spouse", the father was presented to the court, which placed him in pretrial detention, and will be judged Thursday, June 8 at 13:30 p.m., says the Figaro prosecutor of Auch, Jacques-Edouard Andrault.
"For his part, the child benefits from the presumption of non-criminal responsibility because of his age. Protective measures will be taken and the child will be taken care of by the competent services, "details the prosecutor.
