Menem, the biographical series prepared by Amazon Prime Video about the political career and life of former President Carlos Saul Menem, is in the production stage and does not yet have a release date. But this Wednesday the first images of composition and characterization work made by Leonardo Sbaraglia were released.

The actor assumes the leading role of this biopic, hand in hand with a deep makeup work that ends up resembling the Riojan. In Menem, the actor will be accompanied by other great names in acting, such as Juan Minujín, Griselda Siciliani and Jorgelina Aruzzi.

In that line, the proposal created and produced by Mariano Varela – who had a step in the successful Porno y helado – will relate the plots of power, controversy and social tragedy that surrounded the management of the former president, with the impact of measures such as economic convertibility and even theterrorist attacks on the headquarters of the Embassy of Israel and the AMIA in Buenos Aires. occurred in 1992 and 1994, respectively.

Menem's writing team includes Mariana Levy, Federico Levín, Luciana Porchietto, Silvina Olschansky and Guillermo Salmerón.
