Highlights: Lionel Messi will move to the United States to play for Inter Miami FC. Inter was already negotiating with Tata Martino. Several figures of the multi-champion Barcelona could meet again. Suárez, Busquets and Alba would be the maximum pretensions. The eyes of the world will be on MLS and, more specifically, on the team whose most visible face is none other than David Beckham. The former Manchester United and the brothers José and Jorge Mas, its majority owners, already diagram a dream team full of stars.

Lionel Messi will move to the United States to play for Inter Miami FC. And the physiognomy of the club founded just four years and five months ago will change completely. The eyes of the world will be on MLS and, more specifically, on the team whose most visible face is none other than David Beckham. Aware of that, the former Manchester United and the brothers José and Jorge Mas, its majority owners who own 90 percent of the shares, already diagram a dream team full of stars, both on the field and on the bench of substitutes. And the first one who approaches is none other than an Argentine.

"I made the decision that I'm going to go to Miami. I still don't have it closed one hundred percent. I lack some things but we decided to continue on the path. If I didn't leave Barcelona, I wanted to leave Europe, get out of the spotlight and think more about my family," Messi told Mundo Deportivo.

It seems that the first to arrive at Inter Miami would be Gerardo Martino, a coach who already knows the MLS (he led Atlanta United: 74 games, 40 won, 17 draws and 17 losses) but fundamentally Lionel Messi. Rosarino and with Newell's DNA, like Leo, Tata already directed Leo in the Argentine National Team and in Barcelona, where he was expressly recommended by the captain of the Argentine National Team.

Some time ago, Messi had already expressed his desire to have an experience in the United States. "I always had the illusion of being able to enjoy and have the experience of living in the United States, of living what that league is, what life there is. I'd like to. Then, whether it happens or not, I don't know. I don't think about how the year will end because right now I think it wouldn't be good for me to say what I'm going to do because I don't know either."

And, that desire accelerated after the bad drink that meant his passage through Paris Saint Germain and the negotiations with Barcelona that did not advance. Finally, among the mountain of dollars that would have meant moving to Saudi Arabia, after an offer from Al Hilal that started at 400 million and, according to the transcended, could have totaled 1000, Leo chose a less exotic destination and will play in the MLS. And the U.S. league will become a real show.

But Martino and Messi would not be the only old acquaintances who could meet again on the shores of Florida. If there is a desire that Messi has, it is to share a team with Luis Suárez again. Although an obstacle appears: on December 31 of last year, the Uruguayan signed a contract with the Gremio of Brazil until December 2024. Lucho earns about $ 280,<> a month and would have an exit clause that could be activated by some offer that mobilized him. Playing with Leo would seem like a good excuse. We will have to see if he stays to fulfill it or if, before the chance to meet the best partner and friend he had on the court, he tries to find a way out.

In recent months there have been several trips by Messi to Barcelona, where he met Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba (34) and their families. Arriving at the end of the season, the two players announced their departure from the blaugrana club, which suggested that the reunion between the three historical ones was impossible. But given Messi's decision not to wait for Barcelona to fix their financial Fair Play problems (at the risk of living another bad situation like the one he suffered the day he had to leave the club), the chance of a match revived.

All three were tempted by Arab football. Al Nassr offered Busquets a $14 million salary to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. In those days, he was also tempted by Beckham's team. But now, the Englishman has the width of swords and the presence of Leo becomes magnetic so the former multi-champion midfielder with Barcelona approaches Miami.

In recent days, Jordi Alba (who also sounded in Arabia) announced that he was leaving Barcelona because "he felt that he was losing prominence". And Atletico Madrid accelerated efforts to hire him. But now the board changes and, in order to keep the Argentine happy, the directors of the MLS club will make a shot for the left side world champion with Spain, too.
