If you are one of those who feel like pizza all the time and now - you might be interested to get to know the potato pizza that just recently broke the chain. Yes, simple is the key word about this original recipe, and it's not at all certain how chefs, who have spent much of their lives in front of burning stone ovens or crossed continents to learn the secrets of pizza dough making, will relate to it.

American comedian and influencer Corey B (Corey Bonlviquez), who works on social media under the alias iamcoreyb and has about two million followers on Instagram, posted a reel video a few days ago in which he demonstrated how he makes pizza with dough made of potatoes. He made the pizza in a record time that is more or less eight minutes of work. The recipe as a whole will take about an hour and a half to prepare because it includes long waiting times. The post received nearly 400,<> likes and tens of thousands of shares and comments.

In the video, Corey introduced the special pizza and then demonstrated how it was made in an entertaining way while speaking in rhyme. "Take your potatoes and place them in boiling water until soft," he explained, continuing: "If you don't have an oven pan for pizza, don't call yourself pizza people." Corey took the pot of soft potatoes off the gas and added (roughly translated): "When they're as hot as the sun, it's time to crush them with emotion." Then show how he places the potatoes on the pizza pan and easily mash them together in the shell using a cup. This is how he created, in fact, the pizza dough.

On the "dough" Cory drizzled olive oil and then sprinkled with salt and pepper. "Put it in an oven heated to 400 degrees for 25 minutes," he explained.

Made at high heat,

After removing the crushed potato base from the oven, Corey sprinkled it with tomato sauce from a box. Above he sprinkled a crumbled Italian cheese mixture and above placed pieces of fresh mozzarella. "Sprinkle mozzarella all over it — it'll make my body sing acapella," he said. Then indicate that the dish should be put in the oven for another 15 minutes. "You'll want to eat this pizza with a fork," he concluded at the end of the preparation.

The video greatly amused hundreds of thousands of followers and some wrote that they would try the recipe at home, but the pizza itself was controversial. "Something tells me you're going to be banned from entering Italy," one commenter wrote. Another wrote: "Looks great, but you can add sauce and cheese to anything and create an insanely delicious dish." Another follower added that it "seems like a great idea when you don't have flour on hand."
