Many Jewish communities around the world are currently holding prayer rallies for the healing of Rebbe Rabbi Josiah Pinto, following his medical condition and following a series of treatments he is expected to undergo in the coming days.

A recent announcement by the Shova Israel institutions stated, "In the next few minutes, the Honorable Rebbe Rabbi Josiah Pinto Shlita will enter for medical treatment under general anesthesia. Please pray for the complete healing of Rabbi Josiah Yosef ben Zri, shlita for medicine and life and good news. A great mitzvah to spread to the public, and G-d will not tire."

Despite his health condition, Rabbi Pinto has recently continued his strengthening campaigns around the world, encompassing dozens of countries, where Shova Israel yeshivas are scattered.

In recent days, Rabbi Pinto has called on his students to become stronger in keeping their tongues and loving others, "A person who grieves his friend and causes him to shed a tear - G-d collects the tears and helps the victim, because God will seek the persecuted. Therefore, we must be very careful not to harm anyone," added Rabbi Pinto.

Rabbi Pinto also asked his students to become stronger by reading Deuteronomy on Shabbat, a reading known as a virtue for success, salvation and livelihood.
