The fans want to support Lindemann and plan the action during the concert series in Munich. A corresponding post was shared by fans on social networks. They are preparing a surprise, according to one post. In doing so, they make use of a tradition of the band. At the end of their performances, the band kneels on stage in front of their audience to say goodbye. "When they kneel, we kneel with them." The fans also want to sing a modified version of the Rammstein song "Ohne Dich" – "Ohne Euch". "We thought about serenading," reads the announcement.

"We can't be without you": Fans support Lindemann

The fan group urges the entire audience to let Ramstein know "how much we love them". In the changed song, the lyrics are now "Without you we can't be, without you". The act of solidarity should end with the words "With you, the seconds stand, are not worth it, without you." But there is resistance to the action.

Kneeling down is actually the symbol of the "Black Lives Matter" movement, which advocates for the rights of black people. "If the fans do this as a sign of alleged repression, then it is very well also a reference and thus an indirect comparison," writes Kuhnke. Since 2016, the gesture has been performed by athletes from all over the world.

Ramstein rejects allegations

Meanwhile, the band denied the allegations of abuse. Rammstein hired a law firm to investigate the allegations with the aim of clarifying the situation. Specifically, it is about the use of drugs before and after the concert. This is said to have happened without the knowledge of those involved in the context of the concert. Several women spoke in the past few days of frightening situations: At concerts of the band, young women were asked if they wanted to come to the after-show party. Forced sexual acts are also said to have occurred there. Influencer Kayla Shyx's video, in which she talks about her experiences, is now number one among YouTube trends.
