Kochel - Next motorcycle accident on the Kesselberg. A biker (26) was seriously injured - he crashed shortly before the daily closure of the B11.
On Saturday afternoon (3 June), a 11-year-old motorcyclist from Kaufbeuren fell on the Kesselberg route of the B26 while driving uphill. According to the police, the biker had apparently crashed shortly before the closure of the uphill route at 15 p.m. as a result of "speed not adapted to the route" in a tight right-hand bend in the lower area. The high-powered BMW came into the oncoming lane and crashed into the wall there. Fortunately, there was no oncoming traffic at that moment, so no one else was harmed. While the 26-year-old was seriously injured and taken by ambulance to the Murnau accident clinic, the completely destroyed machine worth around 15,000 euros had to be towed away.
