Outstanding teacher suspected of having sex with student (@firstthemnewstiktok)
Tracy Wonderholz, 38, a math teacher and educator at Yukipa High School in Southern California, was arrested on suspicion of having sex with her 16-year-old student, police said.
Last Thursday, the teacher was arrested on suspicion of raping a minor after an investigation was conducted following allegations that she had sex with a teenager under the age of consent, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said. The department did not say when or where the two had sex. The victim was described as a 16-year-old high school student, though it is unclear if he is still studying there.
Wonderholz was transferred to San Bernardino Central Detention Center with $30,000 bail.

"Investigators and Yukipa Klimsa School leaders have worked collaboratively to ensure a thorough investigation into this matter is successfully completed," the sheriff's department said in a statement. Detectives are exploring the possibility of other victims in the case and have released Wonderholz's photo in hopes of revealing more. The sheriff's department asked anyone with more information about the case to contact it.
Yukipa Klimsa School District issued an official statement on Friday: "The safety and well-being of our students is our top priority and we take these allegations very seriously. Immediate action will be taken against the offending parties, as well as anyone else who knew of the allegations and may not have acted. We want to assure you that if the county receives future allegations against any of its employees or anyone associated with it, such allegations will be immediately reported to law enforcement. All people in the province must cooperate."

Third time at the same school
Yucaipe, located 16 miles east of San Bernardino in San Bernardino County, is a very conservative town, but the DailyMail reported that this was the third such incident at the school in less than a decade. In one case, in 2015, a teacher had a sexual relationship with a student while he was dating her daughter.

Wonderholz was named the school's "Teacher of the Year" in 2017, according to local reports. The school's principal wrote at the time, "A few words about the educator so many want to be like." She added: "She is the lovely teacher from whom we hope our children grow. The educator strives to challenge all her students, from her intervention classes to her honors classes."
According to a post on the high school's Facebook page, Wonderholz, a married mother of two, was hired at the school in 2013. She married her husband, Justin, in 2007. In a since-deleted post, the school wrote that it "offers a rigorous math curriculum and deep concern for its students."
