Sonnendorf – For the fifth time this year, the Sonnendorf storks were ringed. For this purpose, the stork friends on site had invited to a party, which provided a lively hustle and bustle around the small church until late afternoon in bright weather.

The Altenerding fire brigade manoeuvred the telescopic articulated mast to the 26-metre-high stork's nest on the church tower – with Beringer Clemens Krafft in the basket. The ringing operation itself went smoothly and lasted only a few minutes.

In the meantime, numerous onlookers had gathered, who were able to fortify themselves with snacks, coffee and cake after the action and settle down around the church. This was also actively used; even cyclists who happened to pass by joined them.

While the ringing was the occasion for the small village festival, the guests enjoyed the opportunity for an extensive chat, by no means only about storks. Ch
