Gauting – Being able to swim safely is essential for survival in view of the current bathing season. This is the only way to enjoy the fun on and in the water without any problems. The Förderverein Sommerbad Gauting reports that the number of non-swimmers of primary school age has doubled as a result of the pandemic and is going on the offensive together with the Gauting Swimming Club.
On Sunday, June 18, between 10 a.m. and 18 p.m., a badge action day will be offered for all children and young people in the Gauting summer pool. The coaching team of the Gauting Swimming Club informs that the seahorse badge lays the foundation for swimming, but that absolute safety in the water is only achieved after completing the bronze, silver and gold swimming badges. Then nothing stands in the way of a safe pleasure in the swimming pool. At the event you can also find out about all the planned swimming courses in summer. No registration is required to purchase the badges on this day. Simply report to the information table at the swimming pool and get started. The only costs are the entrance to the bath.
