". Léna Mahfouf aka Lena Situations launched yesterday like other French stars of social networks on "Channels", a new feature of the social network of the Meta group, Instagram.
This feature, which looks suspiciously like Telegram channels, was launched in the United States last February but until then had not been tested on this side of the Atlantic. Instagram wants to change the way its "creators" interact with their community. The network giant clarified its strategy in a statement a few months ago. This tool, reserved for the moment for the most popular accounts, allows you to send text, photos and videos, but also voice notes, a very popular mode of communication among the youngest users of the networks, or surveys to their subscribers. A one-way mode of exchange however, the community can only react via emojis to publications.

Unlike stories, which were inspired by Snapchat, these distribution channels are not limited in time, thus offering a huge advantage to the platform's content creators. According to our information, the France launch is still only in its beta version. Only some French stars have launched themselves while waiting for a more official communication in the coming days or weeks, including Just Riadh and its 4.5 million subscribers.

But success already seems to be at the rendezvous. "It seems promising, in terms of uses on the creative side and in terms of community response," says one off the side of the social network.

"It's the worst idea to leave this feature to a talker," laughs Lena Situations on her channel, which already has more than 600,000 subscribers in less than 24 hours, proof of its success.
